Guthrie Pet Hospital has
served the pets of Logan County
since 1987. We are proud of our
restored building in Historic Guthrie
with it's hand painted brick facade
and old-time Coca-Cola mural.
Just as we work hard to preserve
the historic aspects of our building,
we are dedicated to providing
state-of-the-art technologies and
the most advanced veterinarian
medical services available.
ANNA M. COFFIN, D.V.M., is a native of Guthrie and the sole full time veterinarian at Guthrie
Pet Hospital. She graduated from Oklahoma State University Veterinary School in 1994 and
moved to New Hampshire, where she practiced as an associate veterinarian for three years.
In 1997, Dr. Anna returned to Guthrie and purchased Guthrie Pet Hospital with her husband
and fellow veterinarian, Dr. Paul DeMars. She is an active member of Community Church,
a board member of Guthrie Business Women and Friends of Guthrie Animals where she
donates her time and skills.
PAUL L. DeMARS, D.V.M., DABVP K9-Fe,
graduated from Oklahoma State University
Veterinary School in 1994. He practiced in
New Hampshire for three years as an
associate veterinarian and moved back
to Guthrie to purchase Guthrie Pet Hospital
with Dr. Anna. In May of 1999, Dr. Paul
took a full time position as an associate
professor at Oklahoma State University
Veterinary Teaching Hospital. Currently, he
is the section chief of small animal medicine
at the vet school. He received his canine,
feline AVBP certification in 2001. He helps
keep Guthrie Pet Hospital in touch with any
referral cases at the OSU hospital.

DENISE TRAVIS, D.V.M., has become a
permanent part of our professional health
care team. Dr. Denise Travis graduated from
Oklahoma State University Veterinary School
in 1988. She breeds and shows whippets.
Dr. Travis has been our relief vet for nine
years and is currently working every Tuesday
morning. She is a member of the Veterinary
Emergency and Critical Care Society and an
active participant in greyhound rescue. Feel
free to come by anytime and welcome her to
the practice.

Our goal at Guthrie Pet Hospital is to provide the
highest quality medical and surgical care for our
client's pets using state-of-the-art equipment, the
latest scientific knowledge, years of experience
by the most compassionate staff in a friendly,
family-oriented atmosphere. We strive to ensure
that owners leave our facility with the most
accurate, up-to-date information to make their
lives with their pets happy and satisfying and by
providing education about disease prevention,
treatment, behavioral modification, training and
sound nutritional advice.
